Cowtown 2025 Fundraising!

Greg Thompson
This will be my 10th year running Cowtown, and my 9th year doing a half marathon or longer distance. This year, I am running with Breathe Team to fundraise and support the foundation that has improved my life with CF immensely.
As a kid, I loved to ride my bike, play tennis and golf, swim, and play soccer. CF patients benefit from physical activity to keep their lungs clear and strong. However, as a lifelong CF patient I had to spend hours each day doing respiratory therapy, in order to stay healthy enough to do the things that I wanted to do. As an adult I still have to strike this balance, although medical advancements have made this easier to do. I was bitten by the running bug in college; I've been running ever since and it is the main way I keep my body moving.
I would be honored if you joined me in supporting the CFF. Our efforts are fostering medical innovation that improves the lives of CF patients. We've entered the realm where living cures are here or on the horizon for many CF patients. However, the work will not be done until no families need to worry about the effects of CF.
