Cowtown 2025
I will be participating in the Cowtown 5K on February 22, 2025. My motivation is to continue to help raise money and awareness to continue to fight until CF stands for Cure Found.
Beckett, my 8-year-old grandson, was born with Cystic Fibrosis. He started taking Trikafta when he turned 6, which is a highly effective CFTR modulator known to have a transformative effect on the health and well-being of many people with CF. These therapies do not reverse established lung damage but could help slow the irreversible progression of cystic fibrosis, dramatically altering the course of the disease over time. His daily routine includes breathing treatments, vest stimulation (airway clearance device), and medication twice a day. Staying active is very important to help keep his lungs clear.
Will you join me in helping to make a difference in the lives of people, like Beckett, living with CF? Your support makes a difference in helping to advance our mission for a cure for all.
Let me thank you in advance for your time and support in fundraising for this disease that is so very near and dear to my heart! Regardless of whether it is through financial donations, participation, spreading awareness, or praying, your support is greatly appreciated!!
Please help me meet my goal!
With Sincere gratitude,
Paula Salyer, Beckett’s Nana
