Many of you know my brother in laws, Chris and Charlie are living with Cystic Fibrosis and just celebrated a huge milestone of turning 45 just a few months ago - the life expectancy today with CF is in the mid-40's. As they said 5 years ago when they turned 40, " While we've outlived our own expectations, it didn’t just happen. It wasn't just luck. It was a village of family and friends and doctors and nurses that struggled tirelessly to keep us healthy along the way." Thankfully with recent therapies they are doing as well as can be with daily breathing therapies, handfuls of pills, insulin shots daily as well as many doctor visits and tune ups along the way.
