I'm a senior at Brewster High School participating in the 12th annual Mr. Brewster Spectacular. Taking part in Mr. Brewster was an opportunity that I couldn't turn down. Though we have a light-hearted ambition of putting on a goofy show for the Brewster community on March 4th, our true intent is more serious: raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis community.
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disorder that affects the lungs, and moreover, the lifestyle of around 30,000 US citizens, and additionally, there are more than 10,000,000 CF genetic carriers in the US that are symptomless.
I'm eager to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's astonishing progress in advancing medical treatments for CF patients, and hopefully soon, a cure will be found.
A donation of any amount would make a huge difference to the CF community!
