This year, I will be running in the Berlin Marathon with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
As a Cystic Fibrosis patient, exercise continues to contribute to my health. By running in the Berlin Marathon as a CF athlete, I hope to encourage other people with CF to use exercise as part of their CF remedy.
A few years ago, Trikafta was introduced to the CF community. Trikafta is a CF medication that helps improve the lives of 90% of patients with CF. Since I began taking Trikafta, my lung function has increased tremendously. However, Trikafta is not a cure for Cystic Fibrosis and there remains many people with CF waiting for medications to improve their health and to conquer their goals.
