This is my third year supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, both through contributing, and running the CF Tennis Tournament as part of the Capitol Swing event.  This organization has single-handedly changed what was once a fatal diagnosis at childhood, to a disease that, through miraculous research and medicine, now allows those with CF to live normal lives, sometimes into their 80s.  While the breakthrough Trikafta drug has helped the majority of those who suffer from this disease to live normal lives, there was a small percentage who did not respond to Trikafta, and for them, a new drug was recently approved, Alyftrek.  None of this would be possible without the donations to CF.  

I also learned that one of my husband's tennis clients has CF.  He never knew.  He never would have known but for becoming involved in the event, as I have.  She is a high-energy tennis player who can run down every ball, thanks to the drug that has changed her life, and the lives of so many.

Thank you for any amount you feel comfortable contributing.  It will all go to good use continuing to find a cure for those who are born with, and live with, Cystic Fibrosis.
