Chef's Fantasy 2020 Corporate Honoree:

Rob Remington

Rob Remington

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Northern Ohio is pleased to announce that this year’s Corporate Honoree is Rob Remington. Rob is a partner and career-long member of Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP. Hahn Loeser is a national law firm celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2020. Rob is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors, chair of the firm’s construction law practice group, and co-chair of its litigation practice area. He has been recognized as a leading lawyer by ChambersUSA, The Best Lawyers in America® and Ohio Super Lawyers®. Client references for those organizations have described Rob as “great communicator” and “class A” trial lawyer. Rob's national legal practice encompasses a broad range of business disputes with a focus on complex commercial, construction and real estate litigation.

Rob has been committed to the advancement of his profession, serving for 16 years in the leadership of the American Bar Association, Section of Litigation. During that time, Rob spearheaded several key Section initiatives and served as co-chair of the Section's Construction Litigation and Real Estate Litigation Committees.

Beyond the practice of law, Rob has been dedicated to giving back and supporting organizations that make a difference in people’s lives, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Northeast Ohio and the Northern Ohio Chapter of the ALS Association. Year over year for the past decade, Rob has championed Hahn Loeser’s support of the CF Foundation at both the firmwide and grassroots levels, raising awareness of the devastating impact of the disease, and funds to support the important work of the Foundation to find a cure. Knowing great advancements were being made but that much work is still left to be done, in 2017, Rob raised $11,000 in sponsorships for the Foundation for his participation in the North Carolina Ironman. In 2019, he was back at it -- raising over $10,000 in sponsorships for the Northern Ohio Chapter of the ALS Association for his participation in the US National Whitewater Center Triathlon in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Rob has been a true champion in the fight to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. His passion in that regard has been an inspiration to his colleagues at Hahn Loeser and carries on a legacy of service to others that began with the firm’s founders 100 years ago.

As the Corporate Honoree this year, Rob has has committed to a $50,000 fundraising goal in support of the important mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Rob sincerely believes in the mission and the Foundation's effect on our local community.
