Conquering a marathon has always been a personal bucket-list item.  This year, I decided that if I was going to take on this goal I needed something to really motivate me to finish. 

In January 2025 I am running the Disney Marathon to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  This is a cause that is very close to my heart as I have watched some of the most courageous kids and adults I know thrive despite having this terrible disease.  Our dear neighbors and our children's babysitter, Melissa and her brother Matt were diagnosed as babies and are now in their mid-twenties with careers and active lifestyles.  Our kids have sports teammates who play at the most elite levels of their sport.  All have directly benefited from the research, medications and therapies that have been developed from funds that are donated to CFF and are living longer and healthier lives as a result.  
 
Please consider giving to this amazing cause and cheer me on when you see me on the roads of Northern VA!
