Magic in Every Mile: Running with Mickey to Beat CF!

Dear Friends and Family,

I am excited to share that I will be participating in the Disney World Half Marathon, an event that combines my passion for running with a cause that is close to my heart—the Cystic Foundation. Cystic Fibrosis runs in my family, and while I thankfully don't carry the gene my family members do. This run is not merely a physical challenge but a meaningful tribute to my uncle, who lost his battle with , and to all those battling this disease today. Each mile I run through the enchanting settings of Disney World will be in honor of these brave individuals.

Throughout my journey as a medical student, I've come face to face with the realities of cystic fibrosis. I've seen both the strides we've made in treatment and the challenges that remain. Advances in medical research have brought us closer than ever to turning from a life-threatening condition to a manageable one. However, the battle is far from over, and continued support for research is critical for further breakthroughs and, ultimately, a cure.
