I will be running this half marathon in February to help continue to raise awareness and funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. My sister, Kristy has CF and I have seen how this disease has impacted her growing up. The treatments she had to take on a daily basis, the dozens of pills, and scary hospital visits, but because of the recent medical breakthroughs made achievable because of donations being made, my sister's life has been transformed. She is healthy, fit, and successful, and the sky is the limit for her. I want to continue this fight for everyone with CF, so that more miracle drugs can be made so that one day CF stands for Cure Found.
