I am supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and I invite you to join me at the event or make a donation to this event. Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disease that affects about 30,000 people in the United States and approximately 70,000 people worldwide. Every day, more than 1,000 children worldwide are born with cystic fibrosis. For parents, hearing the diagnosis is the beginning of a lifelong journey filled with medical challenges, uncertainty, and hope.  

More than 50% of people with cystic fibrosis struggle with severe lung disease by their 18th birthday. Every breath they take is a reminder of the constant battle they face.  Families of children with CF often spend hours each day performing treatments like breathing exercises, airway clearance, and administering medications to help their loved ones breathe! 

Thanks to donations like yours, life expectancy for people with cystic fibrosis has increased by several decades over the past 50 years. But with no cure yet, your help is still desperately needed to fund research, raise awareness, and continue providing support for those affected.
