Join me for Uncork the Cure, an evening dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This high-end food and wine event will feature gourmet dishes crafted by Chopped Champion and Omni Executive Chef Yousef Ghalaini, perfectly paired with fine wines from around the world, curated by Martignetti Companies. You’ll also have the chance to browse an incredible silent auction filled with unique items—just in time for the holidays.
 

My story:
I’m the proud sister of a CF fighter. Megan was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis as an infant and has spent her life bravely managing the challenges of this disease—enduring frequent hospital stays and IV therapies for bacterial lung infections.

In 2019, everything changed. Megan gained access to Trikafta through open enrollment in a clinical trial she’d been participating in. Her lung function quickly doubled, and talk of a lung transplant was no longer necessary. She is now 26 and an art teacher to students in the North Shore of Massachusetts and loving every second of it. 
 

This miraculous turnaround was made possible thanks to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s continued investment in research and care. Because of their work, people with CF are living longer, healthier lives—and the future keeps getting brighter.

But there’s still work to do. Not everyone with CF has access to or can tolerate current modulator therapies. The Foundation is now funding Phase 1/2 gene therapy trials, marking the next generation of CF treatment. We won’t stop until CF stands for Cure Found.
