The Southeast Florida Office of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is excited to announce the return of the Boca Grande Classic Fishing Tournament on October 27-29, 2025. Led by our celebrity host, Ed Marinaro, anglers and their guests will enjoy two days of exceptional fishing along the Charlotte Harbor for redfish, snook, tarpon, and trout, guided by local professional captains.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to The Gasparilla Inn & Club for graciously hosting the event once again and for their continued support as our Premier Host Sponsor. The tournament features a variety of engaging activities including a welcome reception, dinner party, daily happy hours, cocktail reception, and more, providing excellent networking and socializing opportunities. Additionally, guests can arrange offsite activities such as spa packages, rounds of golf on the stunning waterfront course, and a lunch cruise to Cabbage Key (not included in ticket/sponsorship packages).
Since its inception in 2007, the Boca Grande Classic Fishing Tournament has raised nearly $2.67 million. These funds have significantly impacted the lives of those with CF, contributing to critical care, the development of new therapies, and an increase in life expectancy from 36 years initially to over 56 years today. However, there is still work to be done.
