The Clipper Jim Memorial Golf Classic offers a fantastic opportunity to get you and/or your company involved in support of those with cystic fibrosis and play a key role in finding a cure for this disease.
We'll be golfing the morning of Friday, July 12th at Willow Run Golf Course in Sioux Falls, SD. Starting with breakfast and drinks before our shotgun start, lunch at the turn, followed by awards at the end of the day: this tournament is a wonderful day with lots of food, refreshing drinks, great prizes, and an impressive player's package for all our golfers.
The Classic is named after "Clipper Jim" Dresch. Clipper Jim was "Grandpa" to the cystic fibrosis community of South Dakota. Clipper Jim lived to be 80 years old. He was one of the oldest people in the country with CF. His longevity and his passion for living made him an inspiration to not just people battling CF but to anyone facing the adversity of a chronic illness. He credited his positive attitude as the reason he was able to handle the myriad of health problems and obstacles thrown his way. Jim's legacy lives on through The Clipper Jim Memorial Golf Classic.
We invite you to be part of this year's event both on the golf course as we celebrate all the recent advancements made in CF research and care.
