HISTORY
In 1979, Don Baylor founded the Angels Baseball 65 Roses Golf Classic. Don Baylor chaired the tournament for 37 years and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in pursuit of a cure for cystic fibrosis. In 2017, the event was renamed to honor Don Baylor for his dedication to helping those living with CF. For the next 8 years, Doug DeCinces and Bobby Grich stepped into the role of event Co-Chairmen to honor their fellow Angel teammate and to continue the fight against the genetic disease. While the event has evolved, the mission has stayed the same - to find a cure for all those living with cystic fibrosis.
