Shoot for a Cure

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2019 AT 8:00 AM
2019 marks the 14th anniversary for Shoot for a Cure in Alabama. This outdoor event at Selwood Farm in Alpine, Alabama offers a 100-target sporting clay tournament with morning and afternoon flights. Each shooter will receive complimentary safety eyewear, earplugs, and swag bag as well as use of a golf cart for each team.

In addition to the tournament, shooters are offered the chance to purchase skill game tickets including the Tower Game and the Cotton Drop. The Tower Game functions as a mulligan does in golf by providing the shooter a perfect score. The game itself is an opportunity to shoot very difficult targets that are thrown from a 75’ tall tower, a test of both skill and speed!

Cotton Drop is all about strategy and accuracy. Shooters will aim for targets that contain cotton balls with the intention that the cotton will drop into a circle on the ground. Timing is everything! The competition is “shoot-out” style, so the participants with the highest number of cotton balls in the circles will do another round of competing against each other until only two shooters remain. Whoever gets the most cotton balls in the circles wins! Join us for a day at the range!

We invite you to be a part of this year’s event and join us for a gorgeous day out at Selwood Farm supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as an event sponsor.
