His songs have been recorded by artists such as Christina Aguilera, Juice Newton, Garth Brooks, Kenny Rogers, Joe Cocker, Reba McEntire, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Michael Bolton, Randy Travis, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, LeAnn Rimes, Kelly Clarkson, Ricky Martin, and many others. He’s been named Songwriter of the Year by Billboard and ASCAP, twice by the NSAI, and has been inducted into the Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame.

Mark Hudson

Mark Hudson, one of the featured performers at this year’s Harmony for Hope, was born in Portland, Oregon. Mark first came to prominence as part of a band with his brothers, Bill and Brett — the Hudson Brothers. The Hudson Brothers had two top-20 hits, “So You Are A Star” and “Rendezvous,” produced by Bernie Taupin for Elton John’s Rocket Records.
The Hudson Brothers were frequent guests on the Sonny and Cher Show, and in 1974, became Sonny and Cher’s summer replacement. In 1975, the Hudson Brothers Show evolved into the Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Show, one of the first live-action variety shows of the 1970s, which blended music and comedy.
After the brothers broke up, Mark began to get cuts on albums by artists including Cher, Michael Sembello, Alice Cooper, Eddie Rabbit, and Bobby Caldwell.
In 1992, Phil felt Mark was ready to fly solo, and so “Time Takes Time” was the first album Mark worked with Ringo Starr. He went on to produce eight albums with Ringo, including “Ringorama”, “Vertical Man”, and “Choose Love”, to name a few. Then, in 1993, Mark wrote the Grammy-winning song, “Livin’ on the Edge” for Aerosmith, which went to number one worldwide.
Mark has produced and written with and for many multi-platinum artists, including Aerosmith, Burt Bacharach, Carole King, Ringo Starr, Ozzy Osbourne, Celine Dion, Jon Bon Jovi, Hanson, the Baja Men, Alice Cooper, Boyzone, LeAnn Rimes, and the late Harry Nilsson.
Mark was also the vocal director and backup vocalist for artists such as David Cassidy, Wayne Newton, Cher, Alice Cooper, Jon Bon Jovi, Aaron Neville, Hanson, Leif Garrett, and more.
Mark also appeared on the Simon Cowell show, “The X Factor”, which also starred Sharon Osbourne. Mark was the vocal coach known as “Weird Beard” and Sharon’s partner for 3 years on the hit series. During that time, Mark wrote and produced “It’s Chico Time”, which went to number one in England.

Georgia Middleman

Georgia Middleman, who will be one of the featured performers at this year’s Harmony for Hope, has had songs recorded by Faith Hill, Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Terri Clark, Joe Nichols, Maia Sharp, and Sheila E., among many others. In 2010, Keith Urban took “I’m In,” which she co-wrote with Radney Foster, to the top of the country charts. Those who have seen her live, though, can attest that there is real magic in her own renditions of her songs as she wraps one of music’s most expressive voices around lovingly crafted glimpses into life and love at their most compelling.
Born and raised in Texas, Georgia earned a degree in acting from NYU and played the city’s clubs until a visit to Nashville. “That’s when everything changed,” she says. “I fell in love with this town because it was a community of writers.”
She earned a publishing deal with Polygram and then a record deal with Giant Records. Her solo records include “Endless Possibilities” on Giant Records and the independent “Unchanged,” “Things I Didn’t Know I Knew,” and “Plum.” Georgia just recently released her fifth solo record, an acoustic collection of her most requested original songs called “Requests.”
When not performing solo, Georgia is one-third of the trio, Blue Sky Riders, along with Gary Burr and Kenny Loggins. Blue Sky Riders have recorded two CDs on their own label, “Finally Home” and “Why Not.”
Georgia is also one half of the husband & wife duo, Middleman Burr

Greg Barnhill
Greg Barnhill, who will be one of the featured performers at this year’s Harmony for Hope, is originally from New Orleans. Barnhill has been writing and performing his entire life. Artists such as Etta James, Martina McBride, Jessica Simpson, Chicago, Leona Lewis, Tim McGraw, and many others have recorded his songs.
The Backstreet Boys released their first Christmas album in 2022, featuring a song co-written by Barnhill, “Christmas in New York,” which is quickly becoming a holiday classic.
“Walkaway Joe,” recorded by Trisha Yearwood and Don Henley, was a significant milestone in his career. The song went on to earn him a Grammy nomination. Barnhill also had a crossover smash with “House of Love” for Amy Grant and Vince Gill. He garnered critical acclaim with the 2014 single, Gary Allan's" It Ain't The Whiskey," which got rave reviews for its take on substance abuse.
Barnhill is one of Nashville’s first-call master vocalists. His background vocals can be heard on over 10 Tim McGraw albums
Barnhill has also recorded, written, and produced numerous TV themes and jingles. In 2010, Greg Barnhill was nominated for his third Emmy and won an Emmy for “Best Original Song” for the Today Show theme, “Your Day Is Today.”
In 2022, he was nominated for his 4th Emmy for WPIX's “Get Your Game On” for the New York Mets ..
He is the founder and current president of the Ozone Music Foundation and Songwriter festival, which is held in October on the North Shore of New Orleans.
Greg is currently Chief Creative Officer for InnerWave.

Mark Mirando

Mark Mirando, one of the featured performers at this year’s Harmony for Hope, started his music career in New Haven, Connecticut, playing in the legendary "Dogs", a group that was well known for their originals as well as carefully chosen, well-crafted covers.
Mark concentrates on original music now, although he'll pull out a Beatles gem on occasion - and he's recorded with no less than Beatle Ringo Starr.
Mark played guitar and sang backup vocals on Ringo's releases, "Ringo-Rama", "Choose Love", and two of Ringo's greatest hits CDs, "Photograph" and "Ringo 5.1".

He performs on the singer-songwriter circuit, working both solo and with his band, and also travels to Nashville to write, record, and perform with the city's top songwriters, including Georgia Middleman, Jim Photoglo, and Gary Burr. Mark performs at the infamous Bluebird Cafe and 3rd & Lindsley.
Mark is also an in-demand session player and sideman in the studio. One of Mark's songs, "What More Do You Want?" was recorded by Kristin Chenoweth and was released on her CD titled "Some Lessons Learned."
Mark recently sang on upcoming albums by two of his heroes. One is the final album by the late, great singer, Harry Nilsson; the other is by the fantastic Joey Molland from the legendary band Badfinger.
Mark is currently performing with Gary Burr and Mark Hudson in the Laurel Canyon Band.
