Join us for the 18th Annual Shoot for the Cure! This two-day event features a fun western dinner on Saturday, October 3rd and a sporting clay competition with lots of friendly competition amongst the shooters on Sunday, October 4th.
This year, the Nick and Jake’s Western Dinner and Auction on Saturday, October 3rd is being reimagined as we are getting together online instead of in-person. The safety of our community is a top priority and by bringing our western event to the world wide web we can invite more people to experience this exciting evening of bidding on must-have items in the live auction, testing your skills during the game time, and joining everyone in the virtual room as you grab your smart phone and enter your bid for a cure for cystic fibrosis.
For sporting clay enthusiasts, the sporting clay competition will be an in-person event at Powder Creek Shooting Park in Lenexa, Kansas on Sunday, October 4th. There are two opportunities (a morning flight and an afternoon flight) for shooters to take their best shot at different and challenging shooting stations. Teams of five people each compete for best score during the 100-target sporting clay competition.
