Meet Our 2026 Honorees
Prisco Falcone-Panza has built a distinguished career rooted in hard work, entrepreneurship, and a deep commitment to community. He began his journey in 1978 as a truck driver at Derby Winnelson—then known as Nelson Company—working alongside his father, Henry Panza. That early hands-on experience laid the foundation for a lifelong career in the plumbing and HVAC wholesale industry.
In 1994, he took a bold step forward by founding Shelton Winnelson, which grew into one of the most successful companies in the Winsupply network. Under his leadership, Shelton Winnelson was honored three times as Winsupply Group’s “Company of the Year.” In 2017, the company became Winsupply of Shelton, part of Winsupply Inc., now the second-largest wholesale distributor of plumbing and HVAC products in the United States, with more than 670 companies across 47 states.
Beyond his own business success, Prisco has embraced mentorship and entrepreneurship, investing in four additional Winsupply companies. Each is led by individuals he personally recruited and guided—now thriving as successful business owners in their own right.
His commitment to service is equally impactful. A longtime member of the Amity Club of New Haven, he is a past president and has served many years on its board, as well as a six-year term as Trustee of the Amity Charitable Trust. Through this work, he has helped provide scholarships to local high school seniors and support a wide range of community initiatives.
A graduate of the University of Scranton (1976), Prisco also holds a master’s degree from Fairfield University and is a proud alumnus of Notre Dame High School (1972). He remains actively engaged with these institutions as a dedicated donor and supporter.
Giving back has always been a core value instilled in him by his family. His mother, now 96, has been widely recognized for her extraordinary volunteerism, including 38 years of service at St. Raphael’s Hospital—an example that continues to inspire his own philanthropic efforts.
Among the causes closest to his heart is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. A dedicated supported, his connection to the mission is deeply personal, shaped by close friends whose children have faced the disease.
Through his professional achievements, mentorship, and unwavering dedication to helping others, Prisco exemplifies the very spirit of leadership and generosity this honor celebrates.
Gina Falcone-Panza has served as Head of School at St. Thomas’s Day School in New Haven since 2013, where she leads a vibrant independent day school community. During her tenure, she has led significant institutional growth, including a successful multi-million-dollar capital campaign and the historic purchase of the school’s campus. Prior to joining St. Thomas’s, Gina held leadership positions at Ethical Culture Fieldston School in New York City and Fairfield Country Day School.
A passionate advocate for children, families, and her community, Gina believes that leadership extends beyond the workplace through service to others. She served as a Woman of Impact with the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women initiative, a volunteer-driven campaign mobilizing leaders to raise awareness and funds for women’s cardiovascular research, education, and community health initiatives.
For many years, Gina and her husband, Prisco, have proudly supported the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Through friends, students, and families they have known who have been affected by cystic fibrosis, they have seen the resilience, determination, and hope that define the CF community. They have also witnessed the extraordinary progress made possible through research funded by the Foundation—progress that has transformed lives and created opportunities that once seemed unimaginable.
Serving as 2027 Titans is both a privilege and a personal commitment. Gina and Prisco believe that every breakthrough begins with a community willing to invest in hope. They are proud to stand alongside the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in its mission to advance research, improve treatments, and one day ensure that every person with CF can experience a future free from this disease.
