TAU TUG FOR A CURE:
A 15-on-15 tug-of-war tournament in the heart of a massive mud pit at the ATO house! It’s messy, it’s wild, and it’s all for an incredible cause.
 

This isn’t just good (not-so-clean) fun—it’s fundraising with purpose. Every pull, every splash, every cheer helps transform mud into money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, fueling research and breakthroughs for those living with CF.
 

WHY WE TUG:
For more than a decade, Tau Tug has championed the fight against cystic fibrosis, inspired by ATO brother John Pickering, who lives with CF. When John’s brothers learned about his diagnosis, they rallied behind him—committing to raise funds and hope for a cure. Today, John remains the heartbeat of this tradition, reminding us why we tug: for him and for every person with CF.
 

OUR IMPACT:

In 2025, Tau Tug raised over $160,000 for the CF Foundation.
In 2026, we’re aiming even higher: $165,000 toward a cure.
 

Because of events like Tau Tug, the CF Foundation has made incredible strides. When John was born, living past 18 seemed impossible. Today, thanks to groundbreaking research funded by efforts like ours, John’s life is full of possibilities.
