I am thrilled to share that I am participating in ROSE UP on October 24, 2024, as the Arkansas/West Tennessee chapter ambassador for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Rose Up campaign. Diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at just 21 months old, I am fortunate to live a relatively healthy life, but I know that this is not the reality for many others battling this disease.
 

ROSE UP, now in its fifth year, is a virtual fundraising event created and led by adults with cystic fibrosis to unite the CF community in our mission to find a cure and improve the quality of life for all individuals living with CF. On ROSE UP day, participants are encouraged to choose an activity that holds personal significance—whether it’s running, walking, painting, baking, shaving their head, dancing, or anything else meaningful.
 

For my activity, I will be making cocktails and mocktails for everyone who donates. I’ll be doing this leading up to the event, and on the day of ROSE UP, I’ll announce our total amount raised and come up with a special "thank you" prize drawing for our supporters.
 

Our goal this year is to raise $555,000! Your support can help us reach this milestone. By donating today and spreading the word to friends and family, you can make a tangible impact.

The CF Foundation is recognized globally for its relentless fight against cystic fibrosis, driving significant medical and scientific advancements. In collaboration with the CF community, the Foundation has developed over a dozen treatments in a short span of time, extending the lives of people with CF by decades.
 

However, many people with CF still do not benefit from existing therapies. That’s why I am proud to be part of ROSE UP this year, joining others in the CF community who dream of the day when CF stands for Cure Found. Please join me in supporting ROSE UP!
