I ROSE UP for all people with CF

We are excited to share that Aden is participating in ROSE UP again this year! Last year's Rose Up event empowered our whole family to advocate more fiecerly for the CF community. And we are so honored to be taking Aden's lead in this work.
ROSE UP, now in its fifth year, is a virtual fundraising event created and led by adults with cystic fibrosis to bring the CF community together to advance the mission to find a cure and to improve the quality of life for all people living with CF. It's something Aden can fully participate in as a child with CF, and it's be awesome to see how empowering that's been for him. He said Rose Up makes him feel "grateful, powerful, happy, and brave."
ROSE UP participants are encouraged to choose an activity that is meaningful to them to accomplish on ROSE UP day. That activity could be running, walking, painting, baking, head shaving, dancing, and so much more! Aden has had his project picked out for over a year now. He is very decisive! :) This year he is eager to host a meal for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House where his parents stayed after he was born and in the NICU because of CF-related medical issues. He'll be sharing comfort food with about 30 people, and getting to experience the love of the House for families with children hospitalized with critical medical needs. This is something he understands and can empathize with in special ways.
The goal of Rose Up fundraiser this year is to raise $555,000! You can help us reach that goal by donating today and helping to spread the word to friends and family. Aden raised over $2,000 last year! We were AMAZED and had lots of dance parties celebrating his goals getting met again and again. THANK YOU!
Recognized globally, the CF Foundation has led the way in the fight against cystic fibrosis, fueling extraordinary medical and scientific progress. Working alongside the CF community, the Foundation has fostered the development of more than a dozen CF treatments – an unprecedented number in a short span of time -- and helped add decades of life for people with CF.
Despite this progress, many people with CF currently do not benefit from existing therapies.
Aden is proud to be part of ROSE UP this year along with others in the CF community who dream of the day when CF stands for Cure Found. Please join him in supporting ROSE UP!
