Rose Up 2024
Rian Moneypenny
I am excited to share I am participating in ROSE UP on October 24, 2024. This year I'm trying to go bigger than ever in terms of fundraising. October 24th is my nephew's birthday and October 25th is my godfather's birthday. These are just two of the reasons, just two special birthdays, that take place in the month of October. For them, I want to go all out for ROSE UP this year.
On October 24th, I will be livestreaming original music from 6-9 PM. Leading up to that, I will be posting snippets of my original tunes on TikTok. In addition, anything that ends up in my tip bucket at live shows from now (September 1st) until October 24th will be put toward this cause. So, whatever you can spare, even if it's just a buck or two, goes a long way. Thank you all in advance for everything you do!
ROSE UP, now in its fifth year, is a virtual fundraising event created and led by adults with cystic fibrosis to bring the CF community together to advance the mission to find a cure and to improve the quality of life for all people living with CF.
ROSE UP participants are encouraged to choose an activity that is meaningful to them to accomplish on ROSE UP day. That activity could be running, walking, painting, baking, head shaving, dancing, and so much more!
Our goal this year is to raise $555,000! You can help us reach our goal by donating today and helping to spread the word to friends and family.
Recognized globally, the CF Foundation has led the way in the fight against cystic fibrosis, fueling extraordinary medical and scientific progress. Working alongside the CF community, the Foundation has fostered the development of more than a dozen CF treatments – an unprecedented number in a short span of time -- and helped add decades of life for people with CF.
Despite this progress, many people with CF currently do not benefit from existing therapies.
I am proud to be part of ROSE UP this year along with others in the CF community who dream of the day when CF stands for Cure Found. Please join me in supporting ROSE UP!
Whether you make a donation, raise awareness about CF by sharing your story and tagging #ROSEUPCF on social media, or do both – you are making a powerful difference for people living with CF. Thank you for your support!
Let’s ROSE UP together!
