The CF Foundation is working hard toward finding a cure for CF. By donating, you are guaranteeing people with CF will have longer, healthier lives, and access to help with health insurance.
As a 10-year-old, a cure for CF would mean a lot less stress in my life. For example, I always have to worry about taking my medications and completing my treatments. Trikafta has been revolutionary on the slow climb up the mountain of CF to get to a cure. It has put us so close to what we want, yet we are still so far away. I believe that if we raise enough money in the next two years all people with CF will be released from the burdens of cystic fibrosis!
For me, playing chess is a distraction from the stress of CF. It is a way for me to feel normal, have fun, and fit in. I like playing chess against my friends and family. My Rose Up challenge is to win 65 games in 5 days…that’s 13 games per day! You can help by donating money. My fundraising goal is $1,000. You can also show support by sharing my web page with friends and family. I would be very grateful for your support!

A special thanks for two people who play a pivotal role in my life and played a role in getting me through my daily games when I thought I couldn't finish them. My grandparents Barbara and Tom Forbes came and helped me through my games. I had a tiny pawn on either side because I lost my big ones, which my grandpa proceeded to complain about. "Why do I have a dinky pawn!" he exclaimed. Par for the course of why I like playing chess games with my family... they always find a way to make me laugh.
